A commercial visa is issued for travel undertaken for business meetings, trade, trade-fair attendance or corporate meetings. Company owners, executives, import and export managers, and employees travelling on behalf of a company can apply. Unlike a tourist visa, it requires the trip to have a commercial purpose and supporting documents such as an invitation letter and company records.
A driver visa is a commercial driver visa issued to truck and lorry drivers engaged in international road haulage; in the Schengen area it is generally handled under the C2 category. It differs from a standard commercial visa in that the application rests on the driver's professional activity and requires occupation-specific documents such as an SRC certificate, psychotechnical report, operating licence and haulage contract.
The timeline depends on the destination country, how busy the consulate is, and appointment availability. Schengen commercial visa applications are in most periods concluded within a few weeks of the appointment date, though this can extend during peak season. At Tuna Han Danışmanlık we share a realistic time range based on current consulate conditions during the free initial assessment.
A driver visa application generally requires a passport, biometric photographs, SRC and psychotechnical certificates, a driving licence, an assignment letter from the employing company, the company's operating licence (type K or C), a haulage contract or sample CMR, social security records, and travel health insurance. Because the list varies by country and consulate, we check your file item by item before submission.
Yes, you can reapply after a refusal. What matters is reading the stated reason correctly: the clause given on the consulate's refusal form can point to anything from a missing document to insufficient evidence of the purpose of travel. Rather than resubmitting the same file, the application needs to be strengthened with documents that address the specific ground for refusal. Post-refusal applications are one of our areas of expertise.
A multiple-entry visa grants the right to enter a country several times within a set period. Consulates generally grant it to applicants who have held visas before, used them in line with the rules, and can document a genuine need for regular travel. International haulage drivers and frequent business travellers are given priority in this category. We review your previous visa history to assess whether a multiple-entry request is realistic before applying.
We handle commercial and driver visa applications for Schengen countries including Germany, the Netherlands, Italy, France, Sweden, Bulgaria, Spain, Poland, Greece, Switzerland, Austria, Belgium, Slovakia and Slovenia, as well as the United Kingdom. You are welcome to ask us about countries not on this list.
Yes. We manage bulk visa applications for the driver workforces of international haulage companies. We prepare the company documents once, check each driver's individual file separately, and plan the appointment schedule around the size of the workforce. More than 80 haulage and logistics companies have worked with us this way since 2008.
